One perk of working for a magazine is I get to meet a lot of amazing talented photographers and artists. On a shoot for Lowrider GIRLS (another magazine I design), we got to work with Nick Saglimbeni, a reknowned fashion/glamor photographer. His client list includes Maxim, SHOW, T.I., The Game, Vida Guerra, Kim Kardashian (what is she famous for again?) to name a few. Straight out of the camera the pictures are amazing, but that’s just the beginning. Don’t listen to me though, check out his newly redesigned site slickforce.com and his personal portfolio at nicksaglimbeni.com
… but damn I’m proud. I became the art director for Import Tuner a little over a year ago. Before working for the mag I thought “how do they make such beautiful covers?”, now I’m behind the wheel getting the job done (pats self on back). I’ll move to patting to stroking, because I think the Import Tuner covers are the best, most eye-appealing car covers on the newssstand. Many thanks to the photographers that help piece them together. Jon Domingo, Jeff Creech, Luke Munnell, Aaron Powell, Scott Dukes, and Steve Demmit to name a few.

I’ve heard about this project for a few weeks, and now it’s up, and for real. Steve Demmitt and Scott Dukes collaborated for this 370Z video/shoot. Little is known about TAKE2, but judging from this short video, a lot is expected with anticipation.
